    MP discharged from hospital

    Date: 26 January 2007

Andrew was discharged from St. Mary’s hospital on Tuesday (23rd January) and is very happy to be back home and in familiar surroundings. He continues to make good and steady progress, and it is envisaged that it will be several months before he is able to return fully back to work.

Andrew’s constituency office in Newport remains open, and his staff continue to address all matters raised by his constituents in his absence. Andrew and Carole are also grateful to Peter Bottomley MP, Desmond Swayne MP and Julian Lewis MP who have kindly agreed to assist with any Parliamentary business.

Thank you all once again for your support over the past few weeks.
