Island youngsters are being invited to bring their concerns to a special MP’s surgery later this week.

Local MP Andrew Turner has set aside next Saturday morning, 21st October, for a youth surgery when he will be available at his constituency office in Newport between 9.30 and 11.30. He is also encouraging people with issues to raise to do so by phone or email.

Mr Turner said,

“I want to emphasize my availability to tomorrow’s citizens as well as today’s. I realise that my Friday afternoon surgeries are not ideal for them, my summer surgeries have come and gone this year and my Saturday morning surgeries move round the Island. So I am making a special time available for youngsters later this week at my office at 24 The Mall, Newport.

“No appointment is necessary although it is desirable to let me know if you are coming so that you don’t have to wait too long. You can do so by phoning 530808, or by email to mail@IslandMP.com. And you don’t even have to come into Newport – you can leave a message and I will phone you back on Saturday morning.”
