I would like to thank everyone who has supported the campaign for  the OFT to investigate the cross-Solent ferry services.

I have passed the OFT all the evidence I received and it is now a case of waiting to see what they decide.  THey are expected to announce whether a full investigation will be held in May.

Thank you for visiting my website.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my campaign for the Office of Fair Trading to investigate Isle of Wight ferry services.

The following people and organisations are publicly supporting this campaign.
Comment by Linda Blowers, Ventnor
1 There should be a fixed price per Solent crossing irrespective of the number of nights away from or on the island The current practice of charging more dependent on the number of days away from or on the island is unreasonable and totally unacceptable It discourages people from visiting the island for any length of time and thereby adversely affects island businesses2 Pensioners are entitled to bus passes and thus free road transport around the island However none of the buses goes to Portsmouth or Southampton or Lymington for obvious reasons Surely there should be a free water bus ferry service for pensioners
