I would like to thank everyone who has supported the campaign for the OFT to investigate the cross-Solent ferry services. I have passed the OFT all the evidence I received and it is now a case of waiting to see what they decide. THey are expected to announce whether a full investigation will be held in May. Thank you for visiting my website. Andrew Turner MP |
Thank you to everyone who has supported my campaign for the Office of Fair Trading to investigate Isle of Wight ferry services.
Comment by Toby Parker, seaviewThe following people and organisations are publicly supporting this campaign. I was absolutely appalled to see that without consultation with passengers or staff that this monday in March Wightlink dropped the 1945 hrs sailing from Portsmouth thereby making passengers now wait nearly an hour should they be commuting from London The last train to connect with the cat is the 1730 otherwise you wait The reason for this was to allow Wightlink to maximize operating efficiency crew breaks but with no regards to the consumer This is utterly unacceptable |
