I would like to thank everyone who has supported the campaign for the OFT to investigate the cross-Solent ferry services. I have passed the OFT all the evidence I received and it is now a case of waiting to see what they decide. THey are expected to announce whether a full investigation will be held in May. I pay over £1000 a year to commute to portsmouth each day to study civil engineering Im also a keen sailor and have competed at a high level nationally but have had to reduce it ove the last few years as i cannot afford the £140 boat journey with my 12ft boat on a trailer for every event Ive written to ferry services for years even when i was in british squds but they wont sponsor me like they sponsor others i believe its becuse they can make over £100 more from me |
